Apian was founded in 2020 by NHS doctors Christopher and Hammad, and ex-Google Health entrepreneur Alexander.
Our mission is to make people and planet feel better. We believe that healthcare should benefit from on-demand delivery much like consumers do in their personal lives. If a patient can have a pizza delivered in 30 minutes, why must they wait days for their lab test results or medication to arrive?
We spun out of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, where Alexander was among the first mentors, and Christopher and Hammad became the youngest graduates. Today, Apian is a diverse team with backgrounds including air traffic control, transplant surgery, healthcare management, engineering simulation and global supply chains.
We’re loosely based in London, but work across the UK and beyond.
